The
Verástegui Rotor
A self-starting
cross-wind-axis rotor with orientable blades. Each pair of inter-connected
blades will self align into optimal Pitch angles, solely by the
interaction of the aerodynamic forces created by the wind during
rotation.
Passive aerodynamic
method with unmatched immediacy of response
No motorized
mechanisms. No extra energy required
Non-rigid
attachments, provide stress-free pivoting capability
Centrifugally controlled
overspeed protection
An appropriate design
software has been created.
Patents granted by the
US PTO and by the European EPO
